Go Green for Less Campaign

The Alliance to Protect Nantucket Sound sought to launch a campaign to effectively communicate their pro-environmental views to progressive voters and educate them of the energy costs increases that would be brought about by the Cape Wind project. Social Contxt worked with the Alliance to develop the Go Green for Less campaign, a petition to the Department of Public Utilities and Gov. Patrick asking that they delay approval of the Cape Wind power purchase agreement.

We develop the campaign's brand, new media strategy, and launched the campaign microsite on Democracy in Action's CMS.
We engaged in an aggressive online advertising and social media campaign, amassing 1,200 signatures in just 6 days, a 33% email list growth in 2 weeks, and raised thousands of dollars through petition redirects alone.
