Our Approach

We know how it goes. You say to your boss, “We need to have a sexy social media plan!” and he/she says “OMG, let’s totally get on that!” Or maybe you’re the boss, not quite sure what you need, but looking for ways to support your already overstretched and awesome team doing what they can with what they have.

Whatever the scenario is, Social Contxt is here (or pouring over your social media stats while sipping a Starbuck’s latte). Whatever you need, our team can help. And whatever your work style is, that will become ours, too. Like to Skype or GTalk with your vendors? Cool with us. Want to have a few meetings at your place first, maybe do some ice-breakers? We’re there.

We don’t want to be those people -- the “Have you heard from the consultants this week?” or the “Ugh, can you take the call with the consultants because I hate talking to them?” people. We want to be part of your team. We believe that for you to get the most out of what you’re asking for (and let’s be straight, paying us for), that we need to fully integrate with what’s going on at your organization. Think of us as an extra arm or something. But less creepy, and more nerdy.

No matter who you are, we do have a few things we take very seriously and won’t back down on:

  • Partnership: We’re all about collaboration here. You ask; we’ll work with you to make it happen.
  • Engagement: Digital technology is not about tweeting each line of your press release. We want conversations and action. Lots of it.
  • Integration: There are probably programs and campaigns at your organization that could use a little help from digital technology. Let us find these opportunities and make your lives easier.
  • Open: We love using open source tools. It’s cheaper, easier, more customizable, and saves time. Open also refers to our door policy.
  • Data: When you ask “Is this working?” you’ll have an answer quickly, and you can be confident that it’s backed up by real-time numbers. Test, analyze, optimize, repeat (like shampooing your hair).
